Dan Kutzkey founded Maxwell Financial Group with two purposes in mind:

Collaborate with individuals, families, and businesses who value planning for long-term success, financial tools, services, and expertise.
Dan entered the financial planning arena with Ameriprise Financial where he achieved recognition for outstanding client service excellence within the field of financial planning and equities management. After several years, Dan joined an independent company within the John Hancock network where he received certifications in retirement planning and business financial planning. He also established the financial planning and equities department at Price, Raffel, and Browne (PRB) Financial Group in Century City, California, where he served several years as the OSJ Principal. Dan joined the Trapani group in downtown Los Angeles in developing their retirement plans division and implementation of his personally developed client relationship management systems. After parting ways with Trapani and the Northwestern Mutual team, Dan joined the MassMutual General Agency of Capstone Partners Financial and Insurance as the Director of Financial Planning and Manager of Advanced Cases Division. His mission was to assist high-level and large volume insurance producers and financial advisors with growing their practices, increasing case sizes, financial plans, and educating them on the more complex problems that confront top producers in our industry today and their clients with unique solutions. While in this role, Dan developed the intellectual property that is the foundation of Maxwell Financial Group.
As a dedicated Financial Advisor, Dave stands out with more than 10 years of experience in wealth accumulation and tax planning. His comprehensive system is designed to truly help people achieve their goals by listening to what his clients want, formulating effective and efficient plans, and guiding them through execution and monitoring for success.
One of Dave’s proudest accomplishments is watching the teammates and clients he has mentored achieve their goals and go on to help others. He also takes pride in providing a better life for his family. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, grown children, and grandchildren. He is passionate about technology, enjoys cooking unique dishes and using his Traeger smoker, and occasionally plays golf.
Dave holds a Certificate in Programming Technology, is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and is licensed in life, health, and annuities in five states. He is also AHIP Certified for Medicare and a Licensed Tax Preparer. California Insurance License #0104120.
Kellen, a seasoned Financial Advisor, brings more than a decade of experience in private equity, alternative investment strategies, and 1031 real estate exchanges. His unique approach combines private equity, traditional market-based investments, and alternative strategies to enhance the stability and income of his clients’ retirement portfolios. Kellen’s expertise lies in creating robust and diversified retirement portfolios that have the potential to increase income, often significantly. By integrating various investment avenues, he helps ensure his clients enjoy a more reliable financial future.
Kellen is a dedicated father and husband who enjoys smoking barbecue for his three daughters and their softball league. He also takes pride in preparing healthy meals for his family. Kellen holds an economics degree from the University of California Irvine and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative with life, health, and annuity licenses in multiple states.
